Employment Consultant

The Labor Market and Development Unit is part of the Children and Education Administration in Klippan Municipality. We are a positive and engaged workplace where we work closely together and with our participants. Our mission is to support individuals who are outside the labor market in taking steps towards self-sufficiency. We currently work according to the case management methodology and are entering a development phase related to the new activity requirement, which means a clearer focus on structured group interventions alongside individual coaching support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employment consultant, you will be part of a team that develops and drives our labor market initiatives forward. Your main task is the individual work with participants, where coaching conversations, goal setting, and follow-up are central components. You support participants in their steps towards self-sufficiency by creating structure, following up on development, and coordinating interventions around the individual.

The role also includes leading and conducting group activities in areas such as work-life skills, motivation, and job preparation activities, an important part of the operations due to the activity requirement. You guide participants in job searching, match them with internship and work training placements, and maintain ongoing dialogue with employers and partners. Documentation and work in our digital systems are a natural part of the assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, behavioral sciences, or another relevant post-secondary education focused on working with people. You have experience in coaching and motivating work and are accustomed to meeting people in transition. Knowledge of labor market issues and experience in collaboration with authorities is considered an advantage.

You are self-driven, structured, and confident in leading both individual conversations and group interventions. You have a professional, respectful, and solution-focused demeanor and thrive in a job where you collaborate closely with colleagues and external actors.

Good computer skills are necessary for the administrative parts of the job, and a B driver's license is required.

OTHER

Employment type: Permanent position. A six-month probationary period applies.
